A greener environment
A combined heating and power unit has been installed to capture waste heat and using natural gas to generate electricity, ultimately saving on cost and reducing our carbon footprint. As a result we are providing cleaner air and a greener environment to the local community and helping to prevent climate change.

Reducing carbon emissions
Our DAF (dissolved air flotation) plant allows us to treat our own waste water on site, which removes the suspended matter such as oils and solids creating cleaner water. Any waste removed is collected and sent to an anaerobic digestion plant which creates methane gas which can then be used to create cleaner energy. This also further reduces carbon emissions.

We have a 0 to landfill policy and all of our waste is either recycled or used to create energy. Creative Foods, with the help of our waste specialist, has saved 1,552 tonnes of CO2 in the past year* by simply disposing our waste correctly. * Dec 22
